Apple has officially confirmed that WWDC 2025 will take place from 9 to 13 June, continuing its online format while offering an exclusive in-person experience at Apple Park on 9 June. The event will be free for all developers and feature signature sessions like the Keynote, Platforms State of the Union, and interactive labs with Apple engineers.
What to Expect at WWDC 2025

As in previous years, WWDC will spotlight Apple’s latest software innovations, offering developers early access to new tools and technologies. While Apple hasn’t officially disclosed specific updates, the developer community anticipates several major announcements:
iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16 – Likely to include refreshed UI elements, enhanced system-wide features, and tighter cross-device integration.
watchOS 12 & tvOS 19 – Updates are expected, although feature details remain under wraps.
AI and Siri Enhancements – With Apple’s growing focus on artificial intelligence, WWDC may provide the first substantial preview of AI-driven experiences across the ecosystem.
Apple’s Push for Developer Innovation
Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, shared:
“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community. We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
Developers and students can stream WWDC25 sessions through the Apple Developer app, website, or YouTube. The event continues to support the next generation of talent through the Swift Student Challenge—with winners set to be notified on 27 March. Fifty Distinguished Winners will receive a special invitation to Cupertino for a three-day immersive experience.
In-Person Opportunities at Apple Park
The on-site experience on 9 June will give select developers a front-row seat for the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union, along with face-to-face time with Apple engineers and exclusive developer activities. Attendance is limited, and applications are open via the official WWDC25 site.
Inspiring Future Innovators
With Apple’s emphasis on accessible developer tools and educational initiatives, communities like the School of Codes are watching closely. As a tech-driven bootcamp focused on empowering aspiring developers in fields like AI/ML and UI/UX Design, the School of Codes encourages its students to engage with events like WWDC to stay at the forefront of industry trends and technologies.
More WWDC25 updates will roll out in the coming weeks via the Apple Developer app and Apple’s website.
